Sports of All Sorts is currently seeking talented Personal Trainers and Group Fitness Coordinators to become a part of our distinctive and successful health and fitness club.

General Summary
You will be responsible for providing various personal training services that offer members programs to maximize workout efficiency, improve fitness, increase stamina, enjoy their fitness experience and improve overall sense of well being.

Duties Include:
• Develop personal training clientele through:
o Fitness Assessments
o Equipment Orientations
o Interacting with current members while in the gym
o E-mail, phone, mail recruitment
o Any other mutually agreed upon methods
• Develop safe, professional, exciting and comprehensive personal training programs to ensure clients are satisfied with their workout program and remain motivated to attain their personal fitness goals
• Monitor and instruct clients during personal training sessions on the safe and effective use of cardiovascular, flexibility and strength training equipment
• Educate members on current health and fitness issues and trends
• Conduct fitness assessments for new clients to assess and recommend personal training programs

Requirements
Must have:
*4 year health/fitness related degree
OR
*Nationally recognized Certification: ACE, ACSM, AFAA, CSCS, ISSA, NESTA, NASM, NFPT, NSCA
• Program design experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics
• Ability to build relationship with members
• Extensive knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design
• Knowledge of safe exercise techniques, and potential injuries and ability to handle emergencies
• Ability to multi-task and learn quickly
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to resolve conflicts in a professional, tactful manner
• Ability to operate a computer and office software, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
